Transportation To Universal Studios

Hey,
We are staying at WDW All Star Movies Resort. We are looking for a way to Universal Studios for one day. (if that). We heard about Mere's, but we've also heard that it is unreliable. Also, we heard taxis are expensive. Is there any other alternative? Thanks...

We've done both, taxis and Mears and honestly both were fine. Mears you pay per person, so depending on how many you have you can spend the same as a taxi.
We did like the taxi being that they just have them waiting outside the gates, no need to make prior arrangements or set up a time that they'll come to get you.

I just took a taxi Dec. 20 from pop to Universal and came back on Dec. 21.
It was $30 each way plus tip.
If you take a Mears Van you are on there schedule and they make other stops to fill up the van. It will cost you $15 a person with them roundtrip.
It was nice gettting in a taxi when I was ready each day and going straight to my destination.

We used Sunray Transportation in December. Excellent service and a nice vehicle for $60+tip made for a great experience. I won't consider any other way to get there (including my own vehicle).
