I'm planning on staying at Port Orleans (not sure which one) in Feb 2011 and will be at WDW all but 2 days, that I'd like to go to Universal and Islands of Adventure. We won't be renting a car, as we'll be using WDW transportation. Anyone know how it works going to Universal? Do they offer buses like they do for their parks?

Your best bet is Mears which runs shuttles from the Disney hotels to Universal and back. You would need to make arrangements 24 hours prior. The shuttle will stop at other Disney hotels picking up and returning so that will delay your trip a little.

You can check out the website for more information:

Hi there
We are staying on site as well for the 2nd part of our holiday and I asked this question as going to aquatica whislt staying at SSR. Apparently there is a lynx bus that you can either catch from west side DTD (but not in the DTD area-have to cross the road and there is a pink paw sign). Also you can get to seaworld from the TTC at magic kingdom and catch the lynx from there.
Hope this helps.Have a look on the lynx site. Other option is a cab or mears.

You don't ever want to take Lynx...it's a LONG trip and unless you have park time to kill, it's not worth it. The trip takes two hours.
