transportation to SOG

I just confirmed reservations at Shades of Green for January 2002. Do they offer any transportation? Or should I go with Mears or Tiffany Town Car?

Also, are the busses reliable at SOG in the winter? We hope to walk to Poly to get the monorail for MK, Epcot.

SOG does not provide transportation to and from the airport. How many are in your party? If there are only two of you then Mears might be a good option. They however can take a while to get you there because they can stop at several resorts. A towncar (such as Tiffany's) can be more cost effective if say you have three or more people. They also go direct to your resort (unless you prearrange a grocery stop). The bus system is pretty consistent year round. I would check out Deb's site at www.wdwig.com. My daughter and I stayed at SoG this past March. I had always used Mears but wanted to go first class this time and get to SoG as soon as possible. It was great! As we left, the Mears bus (!) was still packing people. And it was wonderful having a driver and nice clean car waiting for us on our day of departure. We would have saved about $20 I think if we had gone on Mears but for a trip that already was going to cost me about $5000, I figured what was another 20 bucks.
