So our family of 5 and another family of 4 are going to Disneyland in Feb for 6 days and figure we would do the city pass so 3 days at DL, 1 at Universal, and 1 at Seaworld. We are trying to avoid in renting a car/van for our families so if we indeed do that then we need to find ways in getting to the two parks outside of DL.

So I have called Starline and Grayline and they both offer transportation only to both parks for $50 round trip per person that includes both parks. They will pick us up at the hotel and pick up after park closes.

Does anyone have any experience with either one of these or any better ideas?

Thanks

We used Grayline to go to Seaworld when we were there in February 2010 and found it to be very convenient. I will say though that I would never again plan to go to Seaworld in February. Lots of attractions and shops were closed. It was like a ghost town. We were there mid-week though. Maybe if you're planning on being there in the weekend it will be better.

We've never done Universal (but are considering it for our February 2015 trip) so no advice there.

I know you want to avoid renting a car/van. But to pay $450 for the bus you could rent something much cheaper as you would only need it for those 2 days. You could rent 2 cars for 2 days for half the bus cost. I rented from LAX in May for $220 for 8 days.
I'm sure I've read that the bus picks up at motels but also that it leaves SeaWorld at 6PM (maybe that is the closing time?).

Have fun.
