Does anyone know the most inexpensive way to get to Port Can. from the Orlando airport? I booked the ground transportation via DCL, but we want to get there one day early and stay overnight at the port. Anyhow, the Disney phone rep told me the ground transfer will only take us on the day we are sailing. What do we do? Do we get a refund for the transfer and take a cab? I would imagine that would be very costly. Please help.

:) We have used transportation2disney.com, and they are very very inexpensive, as well as reliable..

I could go on and on, but i will refrain, just letting you know they are good..I believe the quote on their website is free.

You can rent a car for about $30 one way. PC is an hour away from the port. You would need to stay overnight at a hotel with a shuttle. We always stay at the Radisson at the Port. Here is a website to visit

We are renting a car and returning it the morning of the cruise. As mentioned, it's only $30-40 (look for discount codes at mousesavers dot com, form AAA, Costco or in the entertainment book) a day. I am going to have DH drop me and DK's off with luggage, return the car and then take the Budget shuttle back to the port - I got that idea from these boards :) . I think as long as you have not paid in full for your cruise, you can have the transfers removed. Remember that you then have to reserve a rental for the return trip also.

Thanks so much. I have not paid in full yet and I believe I can get the $ refunded for that portion of the trip. Also, does everyone stay at the Radison? Any special prices?

We have stayed at the Radisson on 2 occasions. Once we had a limo company drop us off. this was nice and convenient, but we felt kind of stranded. There is really not a lot to do within walking distance of the Radisson.

The 2nd time we rented a car at the airport. This was much better. On our way to the port, we went to Kennedy Space Center. This was very nice, expensive but nice. We then checked into the Radisson, mid afternoon and watched a college football game. Then we drove to Grills for dinner and watched the Magic sail. then on to a supermarket for soda and waters.

The next morning we returned the rental car and took the Radisson shuttle to the ship.

this was the way to go.

There were 6 adults, so we had a suite - and we could see the Wonder pull in on sun am.
