Review Transportation to parks from DDT resorts

If your staying at the Hilton ,do they have shuttles to the parks that are equipped to take a scooter? Someone said you can just walk across the street and use the Disney buses but I thought you needed to be staying at a Disney owned resort to use their transportation.

We stayed at the Royal Plaza which is on the same bus line. Yes, they are equipped for scooters. The buses were great! They run every 30 minutes and, because it was spring break and really busy, they ran extras. We never really had to wait for a bus the whole time we were there. We were really pleased with the bus service.
