Transportation to DD

Hi all

I was wondering if anybody knew the answer to some transportation questions.

If you are staying off site is there parking at Downtown Disney and if so how much does it cost?

Also if you are in DD and have reservations to chef Mickeys how would you go about getting there and how long would it take?

There is parking at DD and it is free!

If you are at Downtown Disney, then you could take a bus the the Ticket & Transportation Center, then a monorail to the Contemporary.

After 4pm, there are buses directly to the Contemporary.

However, if you have priority seating at Chef Mickey's, and have a car, just drive to the Contemporary. Tell them you have a PS at Chef Mickey's and parking will be free. They will give you a 3-hour parking pass at the gate.

There is no bus from Downtown Disney to the ticket and transportation center. The buses only go to the resorts.
To get to Chef Mickeys the OP would just have to take the bus to the Contemporary from DTD.
The buses to the resorts used to run after 4:00 but now they start running in the morning.
I would give myself at least 45 minutes, you'd have to wait for the bus, and then get to the Contemp and into Chef Mickeys.

HelenK is correct. There aren't any busses that run from the parks to DTD or from the TTC to DTD. About 3 years ago there was a bus from TTC to DTD, but they did away with it.

That is a change then.

It used to be for the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian that before 4pm, the transportation was to the TTC, then after 4pm directly to those resorts.
