Transportation to Chef Mickey's

We are going to try Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our upcoming trip. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. How do we get there? Will a bus going to the Magic Kingdom drop you off there? Will we need to go to the Magic Kingdom and then walk over? Should we drive the rental car over there???? Help!!!!!!!!

Whenever I go for breakfast, we take a bus to the MK and then walk over. It's just a 5 minute walk. Hope this helps!

You also could take the monorail over from MK, but I've found that walking is the quickest way because usually there hasn't been a monorail waiting.

I would base it off your plans for that day...We've stayed at CBR before and have done different things with our rental car when going to Chef Mickey's. If we were planning to go to MK, we drove the car to the ticket and transportation center and left the car there and took the monorail over to CR, and then just took the monorail to MK after breakfast. This works well if you're going to EPCOT too. If you're going to any of the other parks, DTD, etc., it would probably be faster for you to just drive right to CR. They usually give you a temporary 3 hr parking pass if you're having a meal at the hotel.

If your ADR is for more than an hour before MK opens, tell the bus driver you are going to CR. He MAY be able to drop you off right at the CR.

If not, or your ADR is within an hour of MK opening or after MK opens, you WILL be dropped of at the MK bus depot and iether need to take the monorail or walk to CR.

I'm pretty sure they still have buses that specifically run to the breakfast hotels in the morning instead of the parks. You can double-check when you sign into your resort. I know we did that last time we were there 4 yrs ago at CBR - went straight to Chef Mickey's.

If it will be a MK day, you can ask the bus driver to let you off either before or after he makes the turn from World Drive to the bus lot. From either point it is less than a five minute walk to the Contemporary entrance. Actually it is only a couple of minutes longer from the bus stop itself.

If you are going to be at a different park that day, you are better off driving to and parking at the Contemporary (with a three hour limit) and then driving to whichever park you will be at for the remainder of the day. Since you are staying on property there is no parking fee involved (unless you use the valet parking at the Contemporary).

It depends what you are doing that day. If you are planning on going to MK just drive your car, leave it in the parking lot at the CR, and walk over to MK. Or you could take the bus to MK and just walk to CR.
