Transportation to Character Outlets

We are staying at RPR and Pop Century for a split stay this year. We were thinking it would be nice to go to the Character Outlets for souvenieres, but need some help in figuring this out. We won't have a vehicle during our stay. So here are some questions.

1. Does Universal Studios have an Outlet Store?
2. What's the cheapest way to and from the Character Outlets for 2 adults?
3. I read that there is a free bus service from the Swan & Dolphin. Do you have to be stayng at that resort to use that service? And is there a schedule posted online for departure times?

I think we would only need a half an hour at the stores. So, I wouldn't want to take up a lot of time driving.

i'm not sure what uber is exactly. Is it a store of some kind?

Uber is basically a car service used in place of a taxi. It is cheaper than a taxi. You can look it up on line and read about it. Hope this helps. Happy planning

The character outlet at the outlets closest to Universal was actually closed when we went last week. They were refurbishing it. No date for reopening was listed.
