We are doing 4 days down the coast from San Francisco where we are flying in from the Midwest before Disneyland. We are thinking we might turn in our rental and then taxi or something to Disneyland. Then we will need transportation to John Wayne airport after our 3 days at Disney. Doing it this way will save 3 days car rental and parking at Disney which adds up. What are our options?

Uber is all around.

Fastest and easiest is Taxi. Usually always one on standby at the resort hotels and you can get a $35 flat rate voucher to SNA from the Valet attendant. 15 Min ride with no traffic.

You could schedule a Supershuttle or car service.

Also Disneyland Express, but that is on more of a fixed schedule.

My go to is Uber if readily available if not we just hop in a cab and go.

You do not need a car once you are on site unless you wanna go explore So Cal outside the resort area.

You could return the car to the downtown disney location. I think it's Alamo that is in Downtown disney. Then you could just take an uber to SNA, or get a shuttle.

If you already have a rental car arranged you're going to have to edit your rental. This might not yield the results you want, if your changes cause it to increase.

Along with the DTD Alamo location there's a National/Alamo/maybeEnterprise location on Katella at the Alpine Inn. They have a shuttle. The DTD location, of course, is right there near PPH.

At PPH from the desk to the right of the entrance (as you are entering) get a flat rate taxi voucher. SNA is $35 if you have that voucher.
