Transportation - Sanford?

What would be the best way to get a family of four from Sanford to Pop?
We usually fly into MCO so this is all new to me.

How long of a ride is it? Which is most reliable and least time consuming? Towncar, Mears? Does Sanford even offer Mears? Rental? We will need round trip transportation and we are staying for 10 days. Our flight gets in around 10pm.

Which is the best buy?

Depends on if you think you'll want to have a car while on property. A car will save you a lot of time over the vacation instead of waiting for a bus. Otherwise go for a Towncar each way. Many will let you make one stop between the airport and the resort so you can get some groceries.

I would just rent a car. Sanford is pretty small and while the family is waiting for luggage, you can get the rental car and pick them up. It will take about 45 min. to get to WDW but the drive is easy. There are grocery stores along the way if you need to pick up stuff. With a car available, you can avoid the buses if they are crazy busy. Remember parking is free when you stay onsite. It also takes much less time to get where you are going in your own car.
