My family and I are thinking of visiting Universal for spring break 2015 so we can finally have the Harry Potter experience. We've been to WDW many times, but this would be our first visit to Universal. We usually fly into MCO & use Disney transportation for everything, but I'm having a hard time finding out how to get from place to place at Universal. If anyone has answers to these questions or can point me to a place that does have answers I would definitely appreciate it!

1. How do we get from MCO to our Universal resort? Not sure which resort yet, that's a whole different set of questions! Do they have a bus/shuttle? Is the price included or cost extra?

2. Transportation between the four Universal resorts for lunch/dinner. Does it work like WDW where I can take a bus from my resort to a park and then get on a different bus for the resort I want to visit?

Those are my two main questions for now, but if anyone has further thoughts/insights for me I am open to them. Thanks in advance!

1. No bus or shuttle. You can take a cab or a town car for about 100-150 round trip.

2. The parks and hotels are all within walking distance. You can take a boat from the central hub at Citywalk to the three deluxe hotels or take a bus from the bus pickup outside of Citywalk to get to Cabana Bay if you'd rather not walk. If you want to get from, let's say, Portofino to Royal Pacific you could walk or take the boat from Portofino to Citywalk and then take a different boat from Citywalk to Royal Pacific.

Remember that these boat rides are around 5 minutes long. It takes about 10 minutes max to walk from the three deluxe hotels to the parks.

if you take a taxi from mco to the UO resorts, you can use the hotel town car ($50) to return to MCO when your stay is over.

you can make those arrangements while at the hotel.
