Hi,
Though it is far from my first choice, we are staying at Motel 6 for our first DL trip next summer. We have a dog and choices are limited and budget is tight. But hey....we have 4 days in DL so I really can't complain!
We plan to be at park open and close at least 3 of our days so a swim/rest break midday may be welcome but we may skip it.
Anyway...we have 3 choices for getting to the parks. I would truly appreciate feedback or suggestions on these options!
#1 Walk - DD (only kiddo) is 11 and can handle the extra steps and the dog (lab) gets a walk before and after going to the kennel. (We will visit her and walk her during day as well). Have read varying opinions of length of walk - not sure how direction we will be coming from related to park entrance and kennel though.
I am guessing we will walk east on Disney Way to Katella and then go straight up north?
#2 Trolley - if dogs allowed. Not sure how early they start running though and we want to get there in time to check the dog into the kennel and be ready to enter as early as possible.
#3 Drive. Cost is a slight factor but mostly I am worried about traffic and vicinity of lot to kennel. Doesn't seem like it would make much of a difference in time compared with walking?
Your suggestions and opinions?
Thank you!
Keri
