Transportation question

I just got great airfare to the Burbank (Bob Hope) Airport ($40.80 roundtrip from Columbus OH) and I am looking for options for transportation to DLR from the airport.

I was thinking about taking the Amtrak from the Burbank airport station to the Anaheim station. It looks like Amtrak has trains which would meet my schedule for both legs of the trip at about $25 for round trip. Does this sound like a good idea?

What are my choices for transportation from the Anaheim station to DLR? Local bus? Taxi? Shuttle?

Is there another reasonably priced alternative from the Burbank airport?

My flight arrives at about 8:20 AM on a Sunday and departs at about 6:25 PM on a Wednesday. The trip will be December 2nd to the 5th. I do not have plans for any particular hotel yet so my options are open. I am trying to make this an inexpensive trip for a solo traveler and I will probably only have one carry-on bag or a small back pack which should be easy to carry.

My understanding is that the taxis aren't too bad from the Anaheim station. Metrolink is usually cheaper than Amtrak, but is mostly a weekday thing in a lot of areas. There is a station ajacent to that airport, though.
