ok so I need a car service or shuttle that can pick me up from disney resort to port canaveral and then from port to airport (4 days later). I have already checked fl tours and tiffany and they charge of 220-270 is enough for me to say alot of curse words.

is there any other service i can use. my travel agent suggested that since i am ising DME to get to disney that i can use them to take me back to airport and from there a car can pick us up to take us to port but isnt too late. i already have my tags for luggage and no time to change itinerary. please help. im leaving this saturday and about to have an anxiety attack. :headache::headache::headache::headache::headache:

You can use DME back to the airport, just bring your bags with you (don't check them at RAC). You might need to find a flight time that will put you at the airport at the time you want to leave (ie. choose a flight that departs MCO abotu 1.5 - 2 hours before you want to leave MCO to the port, which means being picked up 3 hours before that "flight time" at your resort).

Are you traveling on a Disney Cruise, if so, Disney Cruise has it's own shuttle (operated by Mears). If not, then you're going to need to book a shuttle of some sort. Mears offers a shuttle to and from MCO and Port Canaveral as well depending on the cruise line (ie. Carnival or RC). Shuttles are charged per person per direction and for Carnival it is $35/person, the others are based on the agreement with Mears and the cruise line.

Private car service from MCO to Port Canaveral versus a Disney Resort to Port Canaveral won't be signficantly different in price though, you're still probably looking at around $200. I know when we got private car service from TPA to Port Tampa it was $100 each way and takes about half the time as MCO to Port Canaveral.

ok so I called DME and I can use them the following morning to go to airport I just have to call them back when I arrive so that they can use my room as a reference number. Its more transeferring but actually the sam amt of travelling and much much cheaper this way. I was quoted so far the least amount of $110 for a round trip to from airport to port canaveral plus grat. does this sound reasonable?

If it's just you and DH, have you considered taking DCL transportation from your resort to port and then to the airport. It is $69 round trip per person. DCL will handle your luggage for you going to port by picking it up from your resort room the morning of your cruise. I think it's a great and more relaxing way to start your cruise.

Yes I'll be hopping on board carnvial but missed the stupid deadline of booking the bus. But thats ok the pan you suggested works just as well and is still relaxing in my eyes. As long as I have a good cup of coffee, and make it there on time, I'm good to go. I figure 9am at the very latest to take DME 45 min to airport and then another 45-1hr to Port C. Will be there by 11-1130 the latest and hour before we have to board. You're awesome! thanx soooo much for your help and calming my nerves. :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Just wondering how this worked out for you? We will need to do the same thing in April. We need transportation from Disney to Port Canaveral and then from Port Canaveral to MCO 7 days later. (non-Disney cruise) There are 4 of us and the cheapest I've been able to find so far was Happy Limo for $220 (round trip) plus grats.
We don't really care what type of vehicle it is, the cheaper the better... but of course reliability is important. :-)
Based on your experience, any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

How long are you going to be there? Why not just rent a car for your trip. We did have very good service from Tiffany a few years back and would give them a thumbs up.
