Transportation other than Mears

Staying at the BCV in September and have always taken Mears. There are just two of us - wondering what other types of transportation people have taken and general cost? Thanks!!!

I've used Tiffany Town Car 3 times and have always been pleased. It's more expensive than Mears for 2 people, but much nicer. The driver meets you in baggage claim, takes you right to the vehicle (although now I understand they park away from the terminal so you have to wait for them to get the car. My last time with them was 1999, we always rent a car now). We've never done the grocery stop, but that would be helpful for you since you will have a fridge at BCV. It's $80 round trip, there's a $5 off coupon on the website. I always tipped $10 each way for the driver.

DH and I have decided to rent a car for 24 hrs on arrival day and departure day....that way we can shop at our leisure the first day and the total cost is equal to that of a limo service.... and if you use National there is a counter at the Dolphin......

I'm another big towncar fan. We use Happy Limo to go to WDW and also to Port Canaveral for our Disney cruises. I am too lazy to drive when on vacation, and hubby feels the same way. I don't like the cattle call of using a shuttle or bus, so the towncar is perfect.

Trust me on this one, Tiffany Townecar is fantastic!!! I have recommended them to family members as well and they also gave great reviews! I love the driver, Berkeley and you can ask for him. He is prompt, helpful, friendly, courteous, etc. When you call, the woman you speak to is Deb who I think is the owner and let her know you have an internet coupan. Tell her the NJ woman from the Dis Board who loves Berkeley recommended him and with any luck I will be back soon! He made the whole airport thing effortless! Have a great time! Carolyn
