Help: I have been scanning the threads. What are my transportation options from MCO to DVC resort and back. Is mears really 16.00 one way per person? Any costs you can tell me? Should I rent a car or what about the minnie winnies? There will be 7 adults. Thanks!

Not exactly the same, but I have a group coming in for a conference next month and I just booked FL Tours and they are charging me $240 r/t plus tip for 6 adults.

When it's just the 2 of us we usually Uber. I'm thinking it's usually in the $25-40 area plus tip? Can't quite recall, but you can go on their sites and do a mock reservation I believe. Probably a good option, just split your group into two and take two Ubers and get there directly and immediately instead of waiting for the bus and possible other stops. Just my two cents.

Mears is $16 per adult one way on the bus. You can look into Minnie Vans, I believe they are about $299 each way now, but I am not sure they can accommodate 7 adults. There are many private transport companies you can look into, might be less expensive than Mears for 7 people. I would do two rideshares, as another person mentioned, it's about $45 one way before tip. Lyft tends to be cheaper in Orlando than Uber.

Car rental is hard because it’s not easy to fit 7 adults plus luggage. But there is alot of van inventory to be rented in Orlando. I see many people in the WDW parking lots who presumably rented these white vans because it was the best option to accommodate their large party.

That price is for a week in April.

Mears Connect is $16 per person, per direction. They use a combination of coach busses and smaller vans, and your route may contain multiple stops in both directions.

Minnie Vans are $200 each way plus tip.

There are plenty of taxi and private towncar options which range from $40 for a standard rideshare to $250 for a limo.

Renting a car will probably be the most expensive option, unless you need it for the rest of the trip.

Since everyone's an adult, I'd recommend two UberXLs each way. Should be about $150 each direction total.

This was for seven adults back in June 2025. MCO area hotel to BLT & BLT back to MCO. We ended up using Tiffany.

Mears (at $32 each RT) would be $224, but that's shared transportation (going to other resorts to drop off/pickup).

"Cathi's arrangement" refers to the quote we got from our TA. Don't know what company she was using.

I know Grat Fusion has a Springer option that will seat 7+ but am unsure the price is for that option (we had booked them for our party of 5 and they picked us up in the Sprinter because they were taking a large party back to MCO). We really like Gear Fushion and plan to use them on our next trip.

Grat Fusion or Gear Fusion?
