Can someone please advise on the cost of a Mears Shuttle to travel round trip from Carribean Beach to Wedding Pavilion and then from Wedding Pavilion to Carribean Beach? We are looking at booking them to transport guests wanted to know before calling. Did you have a good experience using them? Thanks for any info you can provide! Be blessed! pixiedust:

We have 20 people total but more like 14-16 on the Mears Shuttles (from Pop to Wedding Pavillion and from Carribean Beach to Wedding Pavillion)

we used the Mears luxury vans, coordinated through DFTW. they cost us $40/van each way. Much cheaper than the motorcoaches, and we didn't have to charter.

This is what we did. We had 28 people. 4 vans total - 2 to GF and 2 to POFQ. They were a great option to save money. The only bad thing is one if our vans to GF were like 15 mins late and that same van on the way back to GF got lost with our passengers in it. It all worked out okay. We used these vans from hotel to dessert party at Epcot.

Has anyone done just one way transporation?
Is it a bad idea to arrange to get the guests to the ceremony (they walk to reception) then have them arrange their own way back thru standard disney transporation?

It seems like the gracious thing to do would be to provide them transport both ways. But maybe your guests are all really familiar with Disney and used to doing their own thing?

Very true, that would be the right thing to do.
My guests are going to be kind of scattered. My sister and her husband are staying at Port Orleans, while the rest of our guests are at Polynesian, Art of Animation or All Star Music.
Trying to figure out the most cost effective way to get them where they need to go.

We chartered a bus from Colbus. They were the cheapest we found. It was a 6 hour charter for $300. They made several runs between the hotels and Shades of Green and then took everyone to Boardwalk for dinner and then back to various hotels where the guests were staying. And even dropped off guests at Downtown Disney at the end of the night. We about 30 people.

Thanks for the recommendation P2Oh. This is causing a rift with my fiance, he doesn't think transporation is important so I am trying to keep the costs down!!

Maybe he should try attending a wedding in Manhattan with city buses as his only transportation option. :rotfl:
