Transportation Monitors

By monitor do you mean a cast member with a headset and a tablet giving them an update on the bus schedules? We stay at a DVC resort every summer and I haven't found their presence to be consistent. Sometimes there'd be one at Beach Club, sometimes there wouldn't. Sometimes at Saratoga there would be one, sometimes there wouldn't.

If you mean a monitor as in a screen that shows some kind of information, I don't think I've seen any of those, unless my memory is failing me.

We were at SSR in may they had screens (monitors) at all the bus stops but were not yet working. I have heard they are now working and fairly accurate.

Grand Floridian has one. I thought the Treehouse villas at SSR was getting one.

We added some days to our June trip at Coronado Springs resort and although they had monitors at each bus stop they didn't always work. At the stop we used the most it worked for the first day and didn't work after that, it was turned off. So even if a DVC resort has one it doesn't mean it will be working.

We were at BLT this past Christmas and they were working very well. Now, if only we could have access to that information in the rooms, on a tv channel perhaps!

I don't know if that would really be helpful as we noticed that arrival time often changes from earlier to later to earlier to later. And then the bus showed up before they said it would. It was just nice to know it was coming IMO.

We noticed it changing as well but generally within a couple of minutes. It would be nice to know if the bus was approximately 5 minutes away or 25 minutes away. However, I could see them getting lots of complaints if people would time things to the minute.

Poly also has it too. We were waiting for a DHS bus there in May and it kept changing. Started saying it was 15 min away and then kept changing to say 15 min again after a couple minutes had passed (happened 3 times unfortunately)

Have seen them at AKL (both buildings), BWV, and BLT (Contemporary bus stop). Have not stayed at others since they started introducing the monitors. They seem to work fine but part of their operation is to change the time as delays develop and thus we often have watched them increase in amount of time to the next bus before they decrease.

Poly's monitor was not turned on in late July.
One morning we had a human monitor.

I'd like to see timers at parks letting you know how long it has been sine the last bus left for your resort. (Like some drive-thru's)
Of course transportation woul hate if guests were holding them accountable to their 20 minute waits.
