So I am 23 days until my wedding and panic and anxiety is kicking in. We have a total of 18 guest (20 counting the bride and groom) My 18 guests are staying at FOUR different hotels. We have a mini charter service added into our BEO BUT it will only stop at 2 resorts. If we were to add additional stops it would be $50 a piece. So now I'm thinking to myself, what am I doing spending $250 to go to 2 hotels and get at most 7 people?!?!?

Soooo.........to anyone who has had a smaller guest count, did you bother with transportation at all? I'm considering just getting them taxis! The charter service won't even get them back to their hotels! I just feel like I'm throwing away money. Thanks for the advice. I am soooooooo stressed out right now.

we used the limo to pick ours up at one hotel only. I told them to be there and if they were not then tough! alot of ours were offsite.

The limo picked them up, took them to the pavilion then the bus after the dessert party took us all to csr where we were staying and then they all got a cab from there

I vote not worth the money. We're having the limo pick all of our guests up from where they're getting ready (all the guys are getting ready with the groom at CBR and the ladies with me at the Poly), so only two pickups and then the limo will take them back to the Tambu Lounge at the Poly.

We had the limo to pick everyone up, but we were all at the same hotel. I wounder if the limo could pick them all up form downtown disney?

We had a coach to take us to the DP and back to the hotel.

If your wedding is at the Wedding Pavillion - it would be very easy for your guests to get there themselves.

What hotels??

We had some people stay at the Poly and I asked them to come over themselves. It saved everyone else time (and us $$)

It was a big stress for me too. I worried about the bridal party, and sent everyone else info on how to get to the WP. We had 10 in our wedding, including us, plus 9 more guests. We used 2 trips with the free limo to get the wedding party (immediate family) to the WP and gave everyone else directions on getting there - right down to disney park transportation - bus to monorail! They all made it there without issue. At the end of the night those with cars got those without back to their rooms. It turned out just fine.

We are doing the same thing. We told everyone they need to be at the Grand Floridian at 12:30 for formal pics and then the limo will bring everyone to SBP. How they get there is up to them. We gave them info on the bus transportation and taxi info. A lot of the family will have cars so they are planning to pick those up that do not.

When I go to non Disney weddings, transportation is up to me so I see this being no different UNLESS you had a wedding in the park.

I vote for the taxis. It does seem like a hassle to have a bus make four stops. However I do think that transportation should be arranged for guests without cars. It is not "easy" or quick to get ANYWHERE using Disney transportation. I wouldn't do much differently about my wedding but one thing I would have done would be to rent a car. We spent 2 hours the night before the wedding trying to get from the Beach Club resort (dinner) back to Caribbean Beach Resort. :scared1:

We have 3 at the All-Star Movies, we have 6 at POP Century, we have 4 at Contemporary, and we have 1 at Caribbean! The remainder will be traveling via the limo as they're with the wedding party. Since the limo is already making 2 trips, one for the brides party one for the grooms, my planner said there won't be time to use it to pick up anyone else. The Contemporary would be easy to get to the Pavilion, they could simply use the monorail, its the others I'm concerned with. Right now I think I may take the 1 person from Caribbean and just have him stay with the Bridal Party and ride in the limo then use the transport to get the POP and All-Stars.

In that case taxis would be your most cost effective option - just need one for each resort one way and then you can do the same for the trips back at the end of the day. You should be able to do that under $100.
