Transportation & Grocery Stop at 1:00am

I need to book transportation to WDW but my flight doesnt get in till 11:45 pm. I will need to make a grocery stop at a regular grocery store that sells beer/wine (thinking of the 24 hr Super Wal-Mart on 192). Convience store would be out of the question.

Anyone had a similar situation, and who did you use?

We used YourRide at www.yourride.net. Our plane arived at about 11:30PM, the driver meet us at the bagage pick up, and asked if we wanted to stop for suplies. We declined because we were tired and wanted to get to our hotel. Rabbitz service was very nice and polite. I am going to use them again in Dec.

One thing to consider... I beleive there is a certain time in which stores are required to stop selling alcohol. I personally don't drink, so I couldn't tell you... but I do remember in my years of Retail Managment at a large retail establishment, we did have a cutoff time for alcohol.

You might want to double check on local laws... (they might be different for Orange and Osceola counties... the Wal-Mart on 192 is in Osceola)

Thanks for the information. I am going to make a reservation with your ride. Oh, I hope I can buy alcohol, it's much cheaper to BYOB rather than buy at Disney.

Chip and Dale, is that Disney Bus used only for transportation to the cruise ship? We had one like that when we did a cruise 4 years ago adn I wondered if they used them for other transportation. It is so neat to be picked up at the airport in a Disney Bus!!

Those Van Hool T2145 coaches that have the Disney Cruise Line scheme are owned by Disney, however, they are operated by Mears. Under the contract, Mears may use the bus for other charter runs during the week when the Cruise Line isn't in need of them. They are seperate from Disney Transport.
