Transportation fron dlr to slaters 50/50

I am headed there in 12 days. I must go to Slaters 50/50. I will not have a car. Can anyone help me figure out transportation from dlr to slaters?

Public transportation there is spotty. You can take Route 43 North from the
east shuttle area at DLR - then the La Palma line (route 38) from the corner
of Harbor and La Palma to Imperial Hwy and walk the rest of the way which
is about 2 and a half miles. That stop (route 38) at La Palma/Imperial is the
closest one to Slaters.
