Transportation from Universal to DL

I'm going to be at Universal for a conference for a week in October and then meeting my wife at DL the following weekend. We're not renting a car.
Is there a shuttle from Universal to DL? If not, any guesses on how much a taxi would cost?

Gray Line operates the Anaheim to Universal Studios round trip shuttle mentioned on the Universal web site. You might contact them about taking the shuttle one way:

An alternative is to use the MTA Red Line to Union Station, and take Amtrak or Metrolink to Fullerton station, then a cab or the OCTA 43 bus down Harbor Blvd to DL. Here's a start down that path:

Universal Studios is offering free shuttles service to and from the Anaheim area hotels right now if you buy a U.S. one-day pass. Gray Lines is contracted to provide the transporation. You might check out Gray Lines web site and/or contact them to see if they would provide a one way service back to Anaheim (possibly catch a ride back with one of the shuttle trips).
