Just wondering why Disney does not offer DME for those traveling by train?

I am entertaining the thought of taking Amtrak, just hate the expense of a rental car

My guess is that its an "economy of scale" issue. Literally thousands of people arrive on a slow day at MCO. Disney wants to offer them a perk.

How many arrive by train each day? Arrival times are staggered. They can't leave DME coaches sitting there out of service waiting for trains.

AutoTrain is probably the most popular way to arrive, and those folks have cars.

I agree. It is most likely a volume issue. The numbers of people that come by train probably don't justify the expense of DME for Disney.

Also, as Amtrak goes, they have two mainline stations in the immediate area -- one in Orlando, of course, and another in very-nearby Kissimmee.
