Transportation from Trails End

If we wanted to go from Trails End @ Fort Wilderness back to Pop or to Animal Kingdom would it be best to take the boat back to MK and grab a bus from there? Or is there bus transportation leaving Ft. Wilderness that would be quicker?

Take the boat to the MK, and then a bus to Pop Century.
-OR-
Take the bus (directly from Settlement Depot) to the Disney-MGM Studios, and then a bus to Pop Century.

Buses to the resorts from Fort Wilderness only run at 9:10pm and 11:10pm (Actual departure times vary)

To get to AK from FW, I believe you need to take an internal bus to get the the Outpost. Then take the AK bus.

You could also take the boat to MK, boat or monorail to the TTC and then take the AK bus.
