Transportation from the POLY

Hi we will be staying at the Poly from March 29th to April 2nd. Can anyone tell me what the transportation is like to get to the parks and DS ? I know the monorail is not going to Epcot or stopping at the Poly.

Hi there.

Bus service is provided to all four parks + Disney Springs. Since reopening, Poly is generally not sharing buses with GF (which is the normal setup).

Boat launch service is also provided to MK. Typically the boat will go in a Poly-MK-GF-Poly circle but at peak times you can see it go straight between Poly and MK. Depending on which boat they have running, some boats handle the current social distancing requirements better than others. The small launch boats that normally do the Poly-GF-MK loop can barely hold many groups. Since reopening they have mainly been running the larger old somewhat flat-bottomed DAK boats which hold a much better number of guests socially distanced, although they are rather slow.

If you’re up for the longer walk, the GF to MK walkway is now open, so you can walk to/from MK if so inclined.

You can walk over to the TTC to catch the Resort or Express Monorail to MK (or also the larger ferry boats), but I’d generally recommend the boat or bus especially during times like rope drop rather than messing with the incoming crowd at the TTC.

You can always have days where it seems nothing can go right with Disney transportation, but we were last at Poly between Christmas and New Years and our experience with transportation was rather normal/uneventful (in a good way).
