Transportation from SNA

Hi everyone.

We're about 43 days from our trip to Disneyland Resort and we haven't yet decided on our transportation from SNA to the resort.

One thought we had was towncar so we can stop at a grocery store (like we've done in WDW).

Has anyone done this in DLR? Or should we just hop a shuttle?

Depends on what you want to spend. A towncar is a nice option for door-to-door service. A taxi will cost you $40 flat fee, but that doesn't include stopping at a grocery store. Disney Dreams Shuttle is a nice option, too, but it stops at all the DL onsite hotels before the good neighbor hotels. We are taking Super Shuttle because it's the least expensive. It's $10 per person, and we got an additional $2. off per person with our Entertainment card. So our round trip cost both from and to the airport with my daughter and I is costing us $36. plus tip.

If you decide on a taxi or a shuttle, you can order groceries online to be delivered to your hotel room. Many people on these boards have done it, including us, and it works great. Either Albertsons or Vons (Safeway) will deliver to your hotel, though lately the opinion seems to be that Albertsons is more reliable.

I would get a shuttle from SNA to DL. I think it is 18.00 with an internet coupon. Then once you know your room is available take a taxi for what ever supplies you would like.

On the trip before last I stayed at Candy Cane Inn which has two stores to the right as exiting the CCI. Only about a 3 min walk. I got water dasani in 12 oz cans and in bottles to. There is like cheese. bread. lunch meat, crackers, fruit milk cereal and so on. Do bring utensils and a plastic bowl and maybe some seal bags. Would hate to have you shop and then have hours to wait to get put away . I I do bring stuff from home like the cheese and crackers and soup in a cup like that stuff.

Does anyone know how I can contact the Disney Dreams Shuttle service? I'm trying to figure out the best way for us to get to DLH for our trip, and if I go by motor coach I can leave the kids car seats at home-2 less things to lug around. I don't recall that Super Shuttle offers car seats for use, can someone confirm that though?
