Hi,

we (2 adults) are arriving from our Carnival Cruise for an 8 day stay in WDW. The problem is that we don't have a transfer option from the port to our hotel.

I have googled, etc. but just cannot seem to find something at a "reasonable" price. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I know that we could get a transfer to the airport and take MDE from there (even if we don't have a flight coming in?). Is there an easier (more time-efficient) solution than the 1 hour to the airport and then 1+ hour to Disney?

You could rent a car one way and return it once you get to WDW. If you don't want that hassle, your best bet is foing to be a car service. Yes, it's expensive, but it lets you relax and not worry about driving.

there are MANY shared ride options

you can Google Cape Canaveral Shuttle Service and you'll get a page of options

here's one example ... they are $25 per person port to airport, expect a few dollars more to WDW ... you can send a text for a quote thru their page

LEAST expensive is typically driving a car but many don't want the extra hassle of picking up the car, dropping the car ....

A taxi will take you but that will cost over $100 (total for the car, NOT per person)

A limo would run a bit more than that . . .

I would suggest renting a car at Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach. There are plenty of rental car shuttles to get you to the rental lots there. Once your vacation is over, you can return it at WDW (there are multiple places to drop off at or near WDW) or at MCO if you're flying home from there.

Thanks everyone!

I guess I'll have to take a bit more of a look into this. Driving is out because I am not sure that I would feel comfortable driving the absolutely unknown (location-wise). Seriously, I am terrified of that!

Looking into the shares has me nervous--some are really nebulous as to times and basically say: if we are gone, you paid but need to pay again. Are there any "reputable" places? Anyone have experience with these?

I thought about the town car--not much more than a taxi according to you guys... wish there were 4 or 6 of us to share a minivan or something.

Hoping for pixiedust:
