I'm setting aside a non-park night to have dinner & check out Xmas decorations at Wilderness Lodge and then from there attend the Campfire program at the Ft Wilderness campground.
How would we get there from the Poly? and back?

Thank you

When is your trip?? If it is in the near future, you can walk to the TTC from the Poly, then take a bus over to Wilderness Lodge. (This is because there is current construction at the MK bus stop that requires the Wilderness Lodge bus to run to the TTC.)

From the Wilderness Lodge to Ft. Wilderness you can take a boat over, or take the walking path over (about 20 minutes).

To get back to the Poly, if the Magic Kingdom is still open, you can take a boat to Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary, then take the monorail to the Poly.

OR take a bus to TTC from the Settlement bus stop, then walk to the Poly.

There is also boat service to both WL and Fort Wilderness from the Contemporary. Monorail to Contemporary and then boat to destination. Smaller boats than the option above but still workable if you do not have strollers.

Thanks for the replies. We're there from 12/12 - 12/20
The Settlement bus stop is at Ft Wilderness or WL? Just wondering since we have to walk/boat it from WL to Ft Wilderness then we would have to walk/boat it back to WL for return trip to Poly TTC, correct?

The settlement bus stop is @ Fort Wilderness. If I am not mistaken this is where the internal buses for FW meet the buses that travel to and from the parks and TTC. Not sure about that as I have never spent a lot of time @ FW but I believe it to be true.

However, the boats to MK and the Contemporary travel a sort of triangle route with the WL and FW. I believe at night the MK boat goes from MK to WL, then on to FW, and then back to MK. It is the opposite direction during the day. The Contemporary boat travels a very similar route although it may be the opposite direction of the MK boats. I cannot recall? Either way will return you to a resort monorail location that you can hop on to get back to the Poly.

Settlement is one of the 2 main FW bus stops(outpost is the other and not important for your purposes). Once you are at WL there is a bus that will take you to FW and to the proper stop for the campfire show. It picks up at the WL bus area and says FW, once it is in FW it changes to a FW orange bus, tell the driver that you want to go to the campfire show and the will tell you when your stop comes up. After the show, walk back to the bus stop and wait for the bus that says Settlement. Walk from the Settlement bus stop to the boat dock(if the boats are still running, check park hours)take the boat to the MK, it is enclosed and will be warmer than the CR boat. If the MK is closed, that will not be a viable route. Check with the FW bus drivers to find the best way to DTD or another park that is open. If all parks are closed DTD is the only transfer point to go from resort to resort.
