Transportation from Orlando to Wonder

I and DH are wondering if we arrive at the airport 6:30am and we don't start boarding the DCL until 9am, do we get our luggage and wait for the DCL representative or will they retreive our luggage even though we are getting to the airport a few hours before the CMs greet us? Hope this isn't too confusing. We just aren't sure about this procedure. Thank you for your input!

I haven't ever used the Disney transport. I use a town car since there are 4 of us and I am the only adult...less rounding up the troops, etc. and the towncar takes me where I want to go to and from the airport. You might want to look into this if you haven't already paid for the Disney transport.

You might just wander over to the Hyatt in the MCO terminal and ask about the procedure. They will undoubtedly know what time the CMs start moving luggage because the luggage from the Hyatt is collected by DCL early in the morning then loaded onto the shuttle to the port. One of you could do the luggage guarding at the carousel and the other do the wandering if your travel party breaks down that way...

We came in the day before our cruise and reserved the first hotel transport back to the airport in the morning. We were waiting outside the airport when the first DCL bus arrived. The CM who got off checked us in and loaded our luggage. There were 10 or 12 folks who had been waiting inside and boarded the bus before us. I loved being on the first bus out. So... I think you should retrieve your luggage and take it down to meet the bus.
