We are leaving for a week on the Magic on February 8/03. Our plane will be arriving late in the evening on the 7th. I am trying to figure out if it would be better to rent a car and drive to Cape Canaveral and stay there for the night - or - if it would be better to stay at an airport hotel, then rent a town car or limo to take us to the Port the next morning. DH does not like waiting for other people (ie shuttles). Do any of you have any suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks...

My vote is to rent a limo. We stayed at the airport as we were travelling across the country. The next morning after a great breakfast we waited for the limo and relaxed on the trip there. No worries about traffic, tolls, direction. Just looking out for the ship when we get close and what a sight it was!!!

I WANNA TO GO BACK!!!!

I would vote for a towncar or limo too!
Lately we have been flying in the evening before our cruise and getting an airport hotel via Priceline or Hotwire ($28 to $33). A free shuttle is included, and we have Happy Limo pick us up the next morning to take us to the port. That way, we get a good night's sleep and still get there plenty early.
