Anyone know how good the bus and transportation service is from Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resort DVC rentals? hOw far away from MK are we?

You're not far from MK but it will take longer to take the bus transportation than
if you were to drive in a rental car. The busses are a crapshoot. Sometimes
you have to wait and sometimes you don't. As long as you're not in a hurry,
you're fine. If you are going to be making alot of dinner reservations and the
like where it really matters that you're on time, you may want to consider
renting a car. The last time we were stayinng at OKW we had a rental car
and I couldn't believe how fast we got everywhere. Also, there are walkways
from both of these resorts to DTD as well as boats to take you there. Have
a blast. Both of these resorts are awesome. :thumbsup2

Note sure if I agree that the busses take longer than rental cars to the MK. At the MK, the busses have a big time advantage in bringing you right to gate. With a rental car, you have to find a parking space, take a tram to the TTC, then take a monorail / boat to the gate.

At other parks a rental car may be quicker - but at MK I always like the busses.

The buses run approx every 20 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes from the last stop at OKW and SSR to the MK.

Now to drive to MK, you need to take Vacation Club Way to Bonnet Creek Rd to either Vista Blvd or Buena Vista Dr to World Drive. Now if you go to BVD you enter World Dr before the toll booth and then can easily park in the main car parking. If you go to Vista Blvd, you then need to go to World Dr to Seven Seas Dr to Floridian Way back to World Dr at the Hess station where you can U turn to the main car parking.

In any event, it's 15-20 minutes just to park. Now add in the tram time and the monorail/ferry time and you are going to take a mtotal of 45 minutes to an hour. Even if you need to wait for the bus, you will be at MK much faster.

To other parks, it's a toss up. It'sw probably the same time to take the bus as to drive and you are not waiting for a bus when you want to leave.
