Transportation from MCO to Resorts

So looking to book our transportation from MCO to POP. I am leaning towards Sunshine Flyer buses. They look so nice and sound like the will fit the need replacing magical express to start the magic right at the airport. Any thoughts on this?

Sunshine Flyers are accepting reservations for trips beginning February (according to their website) so I don't think you'll be getting any first hand accounts soon.

After some terrible expereinces with Magical Express (always on the return trip to MCO), we now only use town car services for airport transportation. Costs more, but you don't have to wait for others, go to other hotels, and you dictate the times for pick up.

My experience with a town car service whose name can't be mentioned here and who I won't be using again is that they tell you when they're going to pick you up and often it's 3 hours before flight time, just like DME was.

ETA: I intend to use Uber of Lyft in the future, although I don't have to concern myself with car seats, since it's just 2 adults. So that may factor into one's decision.

Not sure if the service I used is considered "popular," so I'm not going to mention their name. I believe the pickup time was due to scheduling difficulties, but still, hanging out at MCO for over 2 hours is no fun.

For the future just post a link to the company's website. The site will be replaced by XXXXs if the company is banned.

I look at it differently, the rideshare might cost the same as a car service. I might as well get a grocery stop and have the car waiting for me. Your, valid point, ride share is on your schedule. Good if you want to grab something at the airport. Works for the return if.you wind up wanting to leave a little earlier, or later, then.s scheduled pickup time

We use Tiffany Towncars. They are 70-80+ tip one way. There are several good private car services as other posters have mentioned.

We used Uber round trip last trip. Only con was I could not setup a reservation for the MCO to Hotel (think this is due to the ride share/taxi lane) but I could from the Hotel to MCO. Interested to see how the MEARs premium and Sunshine Buses compare to each other.

Thanks for the update, this does sound similar to the Magical Express. I am a little worried with our late arrival, but hope all goes well!

We used Mears for our 1/21-1/26/22 trip. We arrived at MCO around 11. The Mears lines were empty. There was a bus that they had started loading. They told us that the bus wasn't going to the Epcot resorts so they put us in an individual taxi. That was great & I appreciated not having to wait. We had a split stay and on the return to MCO we ended up being on a bus. There were a few people already onboard. We then stopped at CBR & headed to MCO. It was quick & painless for us.
