Can someone please give me some insight? I will be doing the 4 night wonder in December with my 18 month and 3 year old daughter. My husband will not be going, so I cannot manage my luggage and still assist my kids. I want to take the easiest method of transportation to the port from MCO. Is HappyLimo cheaper? Can they get you as close to the port as the DCL bus? If not, will the driver help us with our luggage?

when we cruised last September. They drop you off right in front of the port, and the driver is always helpful about getting your bags out of the car and to the proper spot for the porters to tag and take them. As far as cost, I *think* that the cost of the car is somewhere around $160 r/t for the car. I have no idea what Disney costs for transfers, but I think if you're managing with a preschooler and an infant, it would be easier for you to manage in a car rather than a bus.

Others may have more info or another opinion, but these are my thoughts. Have a wonderful time.

I haven't ever used a towncar or limo, but...

If you take the DCL bus, and are arriving at MCO the day of your cruise, you shouldn't have to deal with your luggage after checking it at your home airport. At the end of the cruise, you can have a porter help you get your luggage through customs and to the busses. Most airlines have re-instated off-site baggage check, so you may be able to check your luggage through to your home airport right from the port.

I think the busses are a bit more expensive than a towncar, but they might be more convenient for you.

However, I would think the limo driver would assist you with the luggage, but you would probably have to claim it at the airport and get it out to the curb where the limo picks you up. Perhaps you can rent one of those carts at the airport if you choose this route.

I generally don't recommend taking the DCL bus because it's somewhat overpriced, but in your situation, with kids and luggage but without your spouse, I believe the DCL bus would be the most convenient way to go.
