Transportation from DTD

First timers staying at POR. We are looking forward to the boat ride to DTD. Can you get to the parks from DTD without a lot of stops or transfers?

there is no direct transportation from DTD to the parks. You would have to go to one of the resorts and then transfer to the bus to the park you wanted.

I thought you could get from DTD straight to the parks as it's technically one of the WDW bus "hubs." However, it makes three stops in DTD and one at Typhoon Lagoon before going to the park/resort you're after. You're probably better off taking the bus from POR to the parks.

There are now only two stops in DTD, the Marketplace and Pleasure Island. The Westside stop was discontinued a couple of years ago.

The reason I heard as to why the buses from DTD don't go to the parks is because people will park at DTD and take the buses to the parks and not pay for parking. They would also use parking spaces for DTD customers. The bottom line is there are no buses from DTD to the parks.
