Transportation from DLR to Universal Hollywood

Hi

Outside of renting a car from DLR to get to Hollywood Studios, can anyone recommend the best way to get from a Good Neighbor Hotel to Universal?

I am planning on buying the 6 day So. California Pass.

You can take the train (both Amtrack and MetroLink) from the Anaheim or Fullerton Stations to Union Station in Los Angeles, then take the subway (called the Red Line) directly to Universal.
