HI! We've been to Walt Disney World Two times previously and stayed offsite! We are looking into returning in Oct 2002 and we would like to know If we stay inside Disney do they offer Transportation to and from Universal Studios and Sea World? And what is the costs? We will be traveling with a family of 6! 3 Adults and 3 Children ages 2, 6, 9! What would be our best bet! I know these boards are the best place to ask a question like this everyone gives great input! Thanks!! <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

I don't believe that Disney has any transportation to get offsite, but I just spoke to Mears about it for myself. They don't seem to know about the Animal Kingdom Lodge yet ( don't they have NEWS in Florida? LOL ) so I had to get quotes from CBR. To Universal Studios, Sea World and the Pirates Dinner Theater was $12 round trip per person to each place ( Did that make sense? ). Children under four were free. You need to call for a reservation at least an hour before. The last time I was there, we knew before we went to bed at night that the next day we wanted to go somewhere. So we called the night before! The shuttle buses run pretty frequently and they make arrangements to pick you up for "home" when they drop you off in the morning. We were very satisified with the service. But!! This was in 1995. Perhaps things have changed.

town car service. We did this on our last trip way back in Aug'99. They are wonderful. They go on your time schedule not a shuttle schedule. They were even nice enough to stop on the way back at the liquor store for us to get more PEPSI and beer.

I highly recommend them.

What was the cost for Tiffany to do this? I'd really love to hear the price as I'm not planning on renting a vehicle since we are staying onsite, but I'd like to do some shopping at Belz Outlet Mall. I will ride Linxs if I have to, but if Tiffany is reasonable, I'd certainly like that better. Gerri

hanks! Everyone for the great Ideas! I'll have to look into them! Yes please let us know of approx figure for Tiffany I've heard alot of good things about them and transorlando!! :)

I was at all stars in december of '99 and there was a direct line to mears at the guest services desk. I got a shuttle to sea world with my dh, dd and ds and it cost $30 but I think the children were free because they were babies(1 andf 2)

Lynx Bus leaves from the TTC hourly (at 10 mins before the hour) for about $1-2 per person. Check out their website: www.golynx.com It's bus route 50 that goes to Sea World (it's the Sea Harbour stop). I was originally going to use Tiffany, but for this price, I changed my mind. I posted a question regarding how service was and the responses were favorable. Hope this helps.

What does ttc stand for help me on this one! I'm not to good with the abbreviations yet! thanks! Lynx sounds great for 1 - 2 dollars per person! Do they have a schedule on when you can catch them to and from?

TTC Ticket & Transportation Center. It is the main transfer stop outside MK where people park cars and take the tram to catch the Monorail to the MK. Or can switch Monorails to go to the Epcot park.
