My daughter and I are going for a 3 day weekend arriving late on Friday 12/17 and leaving late afternoon Monday 12/20. We want to do Epcot on Sat and have ressies for a late lunch and then the tickets to the Candlelight Procession. Sunday it is MK and the Mickey's Magical Christmas thingy. On Monday my DD really wants to do DHS to do TSMM and ToT.

My transportation question is - I'd like to see the first showing of the Osborne lights. I hope it is at 4:30 or so. Then take a cab/limo from DHS to the airport. Is that doable with the timing of the light show? Plane leaves at 7:45 and with a cab and no stops but us, I assume leaving for 5-5:15 will be OK.

I was thinking of Mears, but don't want to go back to Wyndham Bonnet Creek to catch that bus. It will cost 60-120 minutes of our short visit to get back to the resort and then many stops (probably) to the airport, so I am going with a cab or limo service. I already contacted the driver Ed that some here have recommended and he can do the drive for $100 RT - I just need help with the timing.

Also, unlrelated to transportation - can we stow are luggage at lockers at DHS? It will only be soft carry-on b/c of quick trip and making it easier to de-plane.

I'm not absolutely sure, but the lights may not start until around 6ish....not sure why that sticks in my mind.
I don't know what to tell you about storing your bags. There are usually two sizes of lockers available. I can't tell you for sure, if your bags will fit in the larger locker. I guess you could check them out at another park...they should be the same sizes.

As goofy4tink indicates the Osborne lights may not be turned on as early as 4:30. They do not get turned on until its fully dark. I am sure they did not have the lighting ceremony until around 6:00 or so.
Once they are on they stay on until after the park closes there are not any first shows or second shows etc.
If they are turned on earlier you can see the lights in 20 minutes or so just by walking through the exhibit quickly.
You can get a cab at DHS and it will take aprox 30 minutes to get to MCO.
I can not help you with the locker information as I've never used them, except in the water parks and those were not big enough to hold luggage.
If you really want to see the lights, my suggestion would be to go over to DHS after your Candlelight Processional since it appears you are doing the earlier show. You can walk or take the boat over see the lights and get back to Epcot in time for Illuminations. A bit of going back and forth, but I've done it in the past and it works since Illuminations does not start until 9:30.

The Osborne lights aren't turned on until it gets dark - around 6 PM.

DHS is open until 8 PM on Sat night so if you have tickets to the first CP performance, you'll have time to get over to the Studio before 8. You will need a park hopper ticket or AP, however.

Alternatively, if you're arriving early enough on Friday, DHS is open until 8 PM that night as well. If you have a 3 day ticket, adding a 4th day will only be about $8 per person, plus tax.

As far as lockers, it looks like there are 2 sizes available - the larger seems to be 17"h x 12"w x 22" deep.

I was also going to suggest heading over there after CP, but I have a feeling that the OP won't have hopping ability.
If it's really important that you see the Osborne LIghts, you may want to add hopping ability to your park passes.
I think you may be trying to squeeze in too much in just a few short days.

Thanks for the reply. The Osborne Lights were just something I wanted to see, but no big deal. After I posted, I saw another thread that said it started at dark, which is closer to 6:15. I think we'll have enough going on with Sat and Sun to try to hop over. I am not included to get a Hopper for that, since I don't want the expense and the time of hopping over.

I will probably leave the bags at the condo at checkout. I know they will store them for us, and we can stop in quickly after getting picked up at a park by a cab. I really don't want to use internal transportation on the last day when leaving, since I've heard the trips to the hotels can take 60 minutes, then the ME another 60 minutes - 2 hours of transportation v. 30-45 minutes by cab. For a short trip, the extra hour will matter!
