Transportation from ASMO

How is the transportation from ASMO? I was on another site and it said it was very slow. Is that true? Does it take forever to get to the parks? How much time do you need to leave to get there?? 6 more days and the Flip Flop Girls hit the parks. Look for our lighted Flip Flops!!

We have stayed at ASMO 3x now and found the transportation to be very good. We have sometimes taken the bus from ASMU, but it was still very good there.
In the mornings we always try to get to the bus stop 45 minutes before park opening. We usually got to the park with no less than 15 minutes to spare.
Ill look for the lighted flip flops. We will be at ASSP next Sun midday-Wed morning.

I should have said in my last post that if you get the Mighty Ducks building, ASMU's bus stop/main building is about the same distance as ASMO's, thats why we sometimes went there. Its also convenient when coming home at night and the bus would stop there first(well, after ASSP, but before ASMO). We could get off a few minutes earlier than waiting to go to ASMO.

I've stayed at ASMovies once and the transportation was pretty good. There is only one bus stop for each of the three AS resorts and many times the bus stopped at all three AS resorts. As a result we found that AS busses were often crowded, but still didn't have to wait a long time to catch a ride.

We stayed at ASMo last December and found the transportation to be great. I dont recall ever having to share a bus with the other All Stars, but it seemed like our bus was always standing room only with just our resort anyway. We are going back in early Jan and I anticipate that if the crowds are really low, we will be sharing a bus. Since we drive and will have a car, we always have the option of driving ourselves if transportation becomes an issus.

The last time I was at ASMo we shared busses with all the other AS resorts to most of the parks with the exception of MK, that one we always got straight to and from, but, we never had a long wait to get on a bus. They were almost always crowded though but we did have wonderful bus drivers who made even the most crowded busses fun! Good luck and have a wonderful trip.
