Question on transportation from MCO.

Have any of you used the FLTours? We have about 9 of us and I checked to see what it would cost for us roundtrip to BWV from MCO. It came up 120 roundtrip for a van. Is this a good price for them? There is also a $5 coupon. Just wondering if any of you have used them and what they are like. We have done the mears thing but am not sure that my MIL would be able to get in and out very well. Thought a van may be better. Thanks!!

For your party of 9, a towncar service would be most cost-effective. Remember, Mears is a per-person rate, so with 9 you'd get to pay $29 per adult $21 per child (so more than $250 for your group) for the privilege of riding in a bus with lots and lots of other stops. FL Tours is a DIS Transportation board sponsor and a good choice form folks' reports (very good service), tho the drawback is that they only take cash. But the price quote is less than half what you'd pay for the inconvenience of Mears, plus FL Tours will meet you at the escalators and take you door-to-door.

We've been using Tiffany Towncars and have been quite happy. We had a group of 9 last trip and they fit all of us and our luggage in a van comfortably. The driver was very nice, prompt, and helpful.

Any towncar service will be MUCH better than Mears and probably cheaper than a cab.

Last time we went we used Happy Limo and had a toencar. I don't know if they do vans but they are also worth a call. They were very nice. We were quite pleased with their service.

I've done taxi's and Mears (they do have the high vans that it sounds like you might need) before. Both were fine for our needs but on my last trip I used Quicksilver.

I found their website very easy to use (some aren't) and any questions I had were answered promptly and politely! Plan to use them again and again and again.........LOL LOL
