Transportation for Hoop De Doo??

My DWand I are planning to attend the 7:15 show of the Hoop de Doo in early October. We are staying at Pop Century and want to park at the Contemporary Resort, shop a little, and then catch the boat to Fort Wilderness. Has anyone tried this?? Also, where can we catch the Floating Electric Pageant after the show??

I don't think you can park at then Contemporary for that long with out having PS to eat there. Your best bet would be to take the bus from the PC to the MK, and catch a boat to the FW. THe dock is a short walk from the HDHR. After the show, we have found that they have buses waiting to go directly back to all the resort. For us it was quick and easy when we did this. If you are indeed allowed to park at the contemporary, there is a boat that goes for there to the FW where HDDR is held.

Thanks Jordan's Mom...If at all possible we will try to park at CR, we have never had a problem in the past but you never know. Thanks for another option.

Parking is VERY limited at the Contemporary, and security will limit incoming cars to CR guests, and those with Priority Seatings at the CR only.

Are you planning on being "on stage" during our visit? We are going to be staying at the PC Oct 6-12. Your FAQ about the resort was very helpful..Thanks!
Are they really going to say anything at this time of year if we are staying at another Disney resort. We always shop at the CR and look around. What's the real "poop" not the Disney line??

We could just take our rental to FW, but with the free beer didn't want to worry about it and wanted to let DISNEY be our designated driver. We don't want anything that could ruin our Disney experience.

If you want Disney to be your driver, just take the bus to the Magic Kingdom. From there, you can take the monorail to the CR and mosey around and then take the boat to Fort Wilderness. Or you can take the boat directly from the MK to FW. From FW, they will have Resort buses back to Pop for you.

While you skirted my question, you did give me an alternative that let's us check out CR and take the boat to FW. I appreciate your immediate response as we are in full blown planning stage.
