Transportation for 8am ADR at MK

Normally, 20 minutes travel time, plus up to 20 minutes wait for the bus.

You should be at the Pop bus stop no later than 7am for an 8am reservation.

Do not wait until 7:30 to get to the bus stop. The bare minimum would be to arrive at the bus stop at 7:00. Disney will tell you to budget 90 minutes to make it to your ADRs using their transportation, which would put you at the bus stop at 6:30 am. Usually that much time is not needed, but sometimes it is.

Keep in mind if you are late to your ADR (and Disney tells you to arrive 15 minutes prior) they may not seat you. Or they may treat you as a walk up and that would mean a long wait. Plus, if they refuse to seat you because you are too late they will still charge you the $10 no show fee.

I never use Disney transportation to make it to early ADRs anymore. I walk outside my resort and get a taxi. For around $20 you save an hour of time, and a lot of aggravation.

Here's the deal. Buses start running, from resorts to the parks, by 6:30 each morning. BUT...these buses tend to run less frequently than the regular buses do. So, if you walk up to the bus stop, and the MK bus is just leaving, you could be looking at a 20-30 wait for the next one! For an 8am ADR, at MK, I would be at the MK bus stop no later than 7, 7:45 would be best. Getting to your ADR early is a lot better than stressing over being late!
