Staying at Hojo's' need to know transportation costs to/from Long Beach Airport, Knotts Berry Farms and Lego Land. We really hate to drive, would rather just take taxi or bus. Any suggestions? Thanks

Regarding airports see:

To KBF I would take a taxi. It is not that far. Cost? If I had to guess I would say $25 each way. To LL that is harder. You can take the Amtrak train to SD. It goes right thru Oceanside/Carlsbad but I have no idea where the nearest station is. Check the above link for info on Amtrak.

We were there in August, but we flew into Orange Country (John Wayne) airport, its closer to DL. We reserved a van to bring us to the hotel. There were other people on it going to other hotels, as I recall. There are tours you can take where it includes transportation and the tickets to other attractions, although I'm not sure which, probably like greyline tours or something similar. We took Amtrak to San Diego, so that is a good option for the Legoland portion of the trip, and it's a beautiful drive along the coastline. They have a lot of different times that they leave, and the train station is right there in Anaheim.

Have a great time!! :woohoo:

For Knott's you could take the MTA #460 bus, which is an LA city bus that starts at the Harbor Blvd bus stop near the crosswalk to DL, then makes its first stop at Knott's. Looks like the fare would be $1.25 per person each way.

For Legoland you'd need to take Amtrak or Metrolink from Anaheim to the Oceanside station, then taxi or bus from there:

Metrolink (the commuter train) is cheaper than Amtrak and looks to be about $20 round trip, cheaper on weekends. I'm not sure of the taxi fare for the 7.5 miles from Oceanside station to Legoland, or the 2.5 miles from Hojo's to Anaheim station.

If you could find a tour bus to Legoland that might be easier/cheaper.
