Transportation between resorts...

But we're not talking the BWR or MK resorts. I can just about guarantee that if they have a valid parking pass from a WDW resort and are parking at POR or POP, they will not be towed. Over the past 14 years I've driven through and around all of the WDW resorts up to 8 hours a day and up to five days a week and am not aware of anyone being towed under those conditions.

Go back and re-read my post. It was recently reported that they were towing at POR, which is most definately not a MK or Boardwalk area resort.

You park your car where you are staying at. Visitors get a 3 hour parking pass, even if you are a Disney guest visiting another Disney resort. Staying on property does NOT give you the right to park at any resort you want to. If you try it you may get away with it, or you may get towed. Your choice, your risk to take.

Yes well put.

Staying at a WDW resort gives you free parking at your resort and at the theme Parks - check out the WDW official site. Resort parking lots are for guests of the resort and guests visiting that resort to dine or shop and not for theme park parking.

Per the official site :

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/directions/#subCategory7

Disney Resort Guests receive complimentary parking at Disney Theme Parks for the length of their resort stay, with valid resort identification. If you plan to visit more than once a year, keep in mind that Annual Passes also include parking.
