I have to attend a conference at the Swan/Dolphin but would like to stay at a less expensive resort. Can I ride the Disney buses between resorts and if so how much trouble is it? Is there a resort that would be best to stay at, assuming this is possible? How late do the buses run?

There are no busses between resorts at WDW..you would have to go to a theme park and then change busses to the resort that you want.

Disney makes no money transporting us from resort to resort...they want us going to a theme park...and buying tickets...and Disney stuff.

WDW buses don't go from resort to resort.

WDW buses go from the resort to the parks or DD only.

that say if you meeting will start at 8:00am or later. I would go with Pop Century (value) and take the Studios bus. then you can walk to the Dolphin or take the boat. (walking is faster)

if your meeting start before then - you can walk over there - but it is dangerous..... - walk besides the CBR - cross the street - (walking in front of a gas station) then cross the street - then go in BWI/V - through the resort - to get to the BW to get to the Dolphin/Swan. but hey it is probably best to take a taxi..... (faster and safer)

if studio is closed when you leave - just go to a park that opens or go through DD to get back to Pop - or take a taxi.

you might be able to rent points and stay at BWV - but even renting points this resort won't be cheap (well to me anyway - lots of people here have more money that I do)
