Transportation between Epcot & MGM via International Gateway

Is there a boat from Epcot to MGM or MGM to Epcot that goes direct from one to another without having to go to the Boardwalk area resorts first?

The boats stop at each of the resorts, before going to the other park. It differs depending on which direction you are going but the boats stop at the dock at the YC/BC and then the Boardwalk and then the dock at the Swan/Dolphin.
It is a nice relaxing ride

Thanks! Guess if we're in no hurry we could take the boats. If we want to get there quicker we'll take a bus. Is it possible to walk between the two? And if so how long might that take?

you need to go around BW - I would say 20 minutes??? might be more.

over on the DVC board - Caskbill has measured this.

I think it is a little more than a mile.

Did babyduty for my DW (to allow her some late sleep) several years ago when we stayed at Beach Club.

Walked to & from Boardalk and Intl. Gateway several times (albeit at 6:30 AM!) as well as along "river" to MGM.

Provides a "bird's eye view" that indicates cutting through the back of the Boardwalk time-share section is a huge shortcut. The Dolphin-Swan route is out-of-the-way.

The walk from the International Gateway of Epcot to the Disney Studios will take somewhere around 20-30 minutes. It all depends on how fast you walk and the weather conditions. If it's hot you will likely walk at a slower pace since you will be in the sun for almost the whole walk.

the boat is air condition for real -the problem is that people will open the windows and therefore the full effects of the air condition aren't always felt...
