Transportation back to MCO for 6.

To use DCL bus transportation back to MCO for 6 would cost a total of $210.

I wondering if renting a town car or limo would be the same or less expensive.

(Would I lose the checked in luggage perk, the luggage collected the night before?)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, if you don't do the DCL transfers, you won't have the Onboard Airline Check in ability.

They'll still collect the luggage the night before, but just to take it off the ship for you. You have to claim it in the terminal.

We also have a family of 6. Even though it is pricey, we choose to use the DCL bus to and from the port. I've read a lot on these boards and done my own research into private transportation and renting a vehicle, but for a single party our size I haven't found a significantly better price for other transportation, and for us the convenience of the DCL bus and that last little bit of pixie dust on the way back to the airport is worth the extra money. Again, that's just what we choose to do and I'm sure others will chime in with different experiences and specific suggestions that may save some money.

We are looking at a flight that doesnt take off till 6:30 pm so we are debating either a day at Universal or a day at the Kennedy Space Center. The limo company we are looking at will take us to either, drop us off and store our bags until we are ready to go to the airport for a very similar cost for the DCL transportation for 9 people

We havent gone yet, so we are debating options. Happy Limo seems a popular recommendation on here.
