Transportation at THV???

We currently have a 2 br reserved for SSR in May but now my MIL wants to see about changing to THV. My big concern is transportation. We have 3 small children and will have a double stroller. The less I have fold and unfold the stroller the better. If we do change to THV, I'm I correct that you get on an internal bus for SSR and get off at the Carriage House to board another bus to get the parks? And the same would be when we return from the parks? I also read something about a path that you can walk instead of the internal bus. How long would it take you to walk from THV to Carriage House?
Does THV have it's own pool and how big is it? Does it have a slide?
Any help you can give would be great.

I haven't stayed there yet myself but look forward to going Sept. 6-11. My understanding is there is an internal bus that takes you to the Grandstand section which is the closest to THV. There you connect to the park/DTD busses. THV has it's own boat dock that stops at SSR and then on to DTD.
There is a private pool which is small and has no slide(but it has a hot tub).
It's about a 5-7 minute walk by the pathway to Grandstand and an additional five minutes or so to the Carriage House. Again, this is what I understand from the other posts without actually having stayed there yet. I think with young children and a double stroller to boot it might be challenging unless you are the adventurous type that nothing bothers. It's as good as what you make it and as BAD as what you make it. It's all attitude, right?

You will have to fold and unfold the stroller, but keep in mind that the internal THV buses are almost empty, and getting in and out is much easier than the crowded regular buses.

THe buses go to both Springs and Grandstand (Grandstand after 11 am), so you can use them to go to the other pools in the resort as well as to catch other park buses.

Frankly, I found I did less walking from THV because we used internal buses, vs. when we stayed at Paddock and needed to get to the Springs.
