Transportation advice needed

I did try a search but had no luck finding what I was looking for. I just booked HoJo for a stay in December before our Rose Bowl package. We will not have a car and I'm wondering what the best way is to get from the HoJo to the Hilton Universal Studios. We usually just take the Disneyland Express shuttle to and from LAX so this one is new to me.

You could take a cab the whole way, it would be pricey.

You could take a cab to the Metrolink station by the Angels Stadium, from there you can go to Union Station in LA and take a train to Burbank and then cab to hotel or the Subway to Universal City and then a cab to hotel.

Thanks I will look into the train. I did find a door to door shuttle service between the two - Lux Bus America. The price seems reasonable - anyone have any experience with them?

I haven't heard too much about Lux Bus, but have noticed their buses around town in the last few months. That would be great if the door-to-door thing panned out. Be sure to give us your report after your trip!

As for the train option, some Amtrak Surfliner trains travel from Anaheim to Burbank and points beyond, so you could take one of those and then taxi to your hotel.

With all Metrolink commuter trains you'd have to switch at Union Station.
