Transportaion from WDW to Universal??

We are a family of 3...what would we expect to pay, and what transportation service have you used??

Any advise??? I was originally thinking of staying with Universal for a couple days or so, but I just can't seem to justify their rates.

A few years ago, we took a taxi from City Walk to Downtown Disney and it was about $30 after tip one way. For our May trip, we've decided that for one day, that is worth paying rather than trying to deal with getting back to the airport and renting a car (the car rental from the Swan/Dolphin is $50/day right now).

Hello to all... I have been trying to find the cost versus convenience of renting a car from the airport to the HRH, or rental car/transfer. I saw on the HRH website that they have a Hertz rental counter. We are gonna do 1 day at WDW during a 6 day visit to U/S in Mid-July. There seems to be hidden costs involved with Hotel parking and Park parking fees.Past trips I have rent a car at the airport for convenience, but I'm open to suggestions for a group of 4. I also used Mears from WDW to U/S and was pretty happy with the service. Again thanks to all for the information that is posted on the boards. It really is invaluable

How much did Mears charge??

It was 2 years ago, but I think it was 12$ one way for adults. I saw some current prices on other boards though.
